: Highwoods Crescent - Doncaster

Working with D&B Fencing (Maltby) and the main contractor GNE Contracting Ltd on behalf of Doncaster MBC the supply of a bespoke galvanised and Polyester Powder coated mild steel vertical bar fencing.

A major package of works was undertaken to re develop and define boundary conditions to all properties on the Highwoods Crescent site. Working alongside our client and the main contractor it became apparent that we needed to liase directly with the local authority's architects to ensure that we interpreted their requirements exactly. By balancing Doncaster MBC’s design brief and the abilities of the materials we managed to present and improve the fencing from initial expectations with very little compromise. We furnished Doncaster MBC with drawings produced with the latest 3D solid modelling software giving full realisation of the end product prior to manufacture.

Due to the nature of the design all the panels and gates were manufactured to fit specifically in their corresponding areas on the site, as the positioning of the ornate rings made site modifications to the fabricated panels impossible.

As with all TurnKey projects the challenge was being on site when the final brickwork was laid to instantly commence with a detailed site survey, our ability to assist site labour to maintain a flow of work was our main priority.
